Actors and their dogs. Among the dog people Henry Cavill, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Hardy

Looking at pictures of celebrities from across the pond (but also our local ones) we can get the impression that a dog (often carried in a handbag) becomes an inseparable part of an everyday look. We sometimes hear of estates being bequeathed to pets, diamond accessories and individual groomers. However, a large group of more or less celebrities present their love for four-legged animals in a very reasonable and balanced way and there is no shortage of those who have several pets. They also like to share photos of their pets online and so, on the occasion of International Dog Day on 26 August, we have put together with photos of top actors with their canine companions.

Groucho Marx or one of the Marx Brothers, somewhere at the beginning of the last century said:

Outside of a dog, a book is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.

It comes out that everything is strongly connected – the love of art and the love of dogs. This is especially visible among Polish and foreign actors, who even spam their social media profiles with their beloved pets accompanying them in everyday life.

Another plus is the fact that most of these animals are adoptable, having found their way to the celebrities’ homes from shelters or after being abandoned by their previous owners. So it’s nice to see how they have found faithful life companions in their new homes. Meet Dot, Zelda, Kredyt, Lord Chesterfield and others.
